Medical Superintendent-cum-Vice Principal (MSVP)

Rtn (Dr) Siddhartha Chakraborty, a pass-out of Medical College, Calcutta of the 1974 batch,  is fortunate enough to serve his Alma mater almost throughout his service career.

After heading the Department of Cardio-Thoracic and Vascular Surgery since 2001, he has recently been given the responsibility of Medical Superintendent-cum-Vice Principal of that Institute he so passionately loves.

His interests are varied. He is the President of MCH Branch of Association of Health Service Doctors, Ex-Secretary of Medical College Ex-Students’ Association and of Association of Thoracic and Cardio-Vascular Surgeons of West Bengal. He is also involved with Ganadarpan – an NGO working in the field of organ donation.
